Now as you all should know last journal entry talked about why one of our members don't like Sally, and Sonic/Sally so you should be aware of what's up for discussion, as long as the journal entry keeps on topic about why you dislike Sal feel free to give it to us.

Now today's news is of course great for Anti Sonic/Sally fans who read the comics which is why it has been posted today since our club not only is for those who don't like Sally Acorn, but those who may like Sally Acorn and disaprove of Sonic/Sally or heck disaprove of both character and pairing alike.


So I won't bother you anymore, I wrote the entry on my own DA account but just for those who don't check it out, read what Archie Sonic comic writer Karl Bollers managed to say to the Sonic fanbase regarding Mobius 25 YL, the story thought to make Sonic and Sally an official couple because it depicted the true future:

"Hey, Sonic fans! Just wanted to say Happy New Year and thanks for your loyal support during this past year and in previous ones.

Hope you're enjoying the new direction we've taken beginning with issue #130. We at Archie hope to make Sonic even bigger and better in 2004 than it was in 2003.

Sonic Editor J.F. Gabrie and I had a lengthy story conference this weekend to discuss upcoming storylines in the current SONIC series.

Regarding the continuity of Mobius 25 Years Later, it was decided by Justin and myself that even though the future depicted will be the one seen in the SONIC: IN YOUR FACE SPECIAL it is indeed an ALTERNATE future, similar to DC's Elseworld series.

That isn't to say that it won't be action-packed entertainment. Believe us when we say that M:25YL is going to really deliver!

And, sure, Sonic and Sally might not end up being king and queen in the future.

But who knows...

...they just might!

And that's the link if you don't beleive me!It official, 25 YL is NOT official and neither is IYF as they're keeping open the possibilities of Sonic marrying someone else. GO MINA GO AMY you STILL HAVE A CHANCE!

Archie comics have decided to make Mobius 25 YL an alternate future, but why you ask? Its really quite simple and I beleive Karl Bollers said it best here:

"Sorry, but common sense prevailed and it was decided that if M:25YL was indeed the actual future, there wouldn't be much point to telling the present stories since readers would then know what happens to all the characters.

That, plus the fact that it kills all suspense for a character's fate if you know he/she is going to be alive a quarter of a century down the line.

At best, M:25YL is a speculative look at the future of the Archie series.

Okay, you have to be against Sally in any kind of way. This that also includes that you can join on the basis your against Sonic/Sally as this club is not a haven for only those who don't like Sally, but for those who may like or have no care of the character but do not approve of the pairing or do not approve of the pairing as much as another one.
